Many people have discussed buying it this season, but I don't recall seeing an actual review for it yet.

I just read the following on one of the other ice fishing sites.
Thanks Dok, I called and checked the automated 'backorder list' and they stated the shipping date as Feb.25/05. I knew I would be flirting with a shaky company but for the price, and the possibility of having a cam and a vex, I thought it would be worth the risk.

I'm planning to get one too. I was waiting for the financing to be in place, but now that I know they're on backorder I don't feel so bad. Let us know how it works when you finally get it, Mike... I 'm looking forward to learning more about it. Thanks. Brian

A buddy of mine ordered one back in early December, and they said it would ship the 19th. Well, now it is back ordered until ??? He ended up cancelling the order and got one from http://www.sportsmansguide.com/. Very similar, probably made for them by Atlantis and $60.00 more, but he got it 2 days after the order. If you wait until the back orders are filled, ice may be gone. Good luck to all those patient people.

Everyone, cameras can only work as well as your eyes. If you can't stick your head in the water and see more than 12" (inches !), neither can the camera !!! Any camera, all of them, any make, all operate basically the same on the "water clarity and seeing" issue.
