Where to take a couple kids?

Would like to take my wife's little brothers out this weekend, one is 8 and the other is 10. Have'nt made it out myself so I don't know whats hot right now. Would like to set up tip-ups and maybe see them pull in a couple pike, that would be great. Maybe also some panfish, because I know they will want to be in the shantie most of the time. Did'nt have time to get them out deer-hunting, so I promised I would get them on the ice to try to catch a couple big fish on the tip-ups. This will be their first time, so I would love them to catch a few. I will not be fishing, but I will set out my two tip-ups to greaten their chances. So if anyone has any hotspots and would'nt mind sharing them, I would greatly appreciate it as would the little ones. Feel free to pm me if you would like.

One more place i left out in the PM, if you don't mind driving out to lapeer county, there's a state or county park, can't remember the name, but the lake is called Lake minnawanna, you can catch micro gills on a bare hook so that oughtta keep the kid interested.
