Hess lake or Loon Lake

I feel dumb quys. I started a thread all ready on this one but i have no clue where i put it. Any ways wnyone know the ice conditions in this area? Heading that direction this weekend and wondering whether to haul the ice fishing stuff iwth me.

Was on Hess Lake today. Caught a few specks but left alot more still swimming. Had six inches of ice where I was at. Minnows and waxies

Thanks for the info. Is there much snow on the ice?
