Got out at 7:45 a.m. to find nobody on the lake. Never made it to Eagle Point like I planned to fish. Fished in about 20 FOW to catch about 15 dink perch. Left around 11:30 and headed to Wamplers to check out the Trap Attack madness. Ice at Clark was anywhere from 3-5 inches...Marked fish, sat on 'em and couldn't get nothing going with any big fish. Did stop at the Shipwreck party store on Eagle Point and you can buy a winter pass to park in the locked gates behind the store for 25 bucks. Permit lasts as long as there is safe ice to fish. Just a thought for people who like fishing that area...Took a drive around the entire lake lookin for any other access other than the two boat launches, with no success...Would like to tag up with someone that knows this lake during the heardwater season and give it another try...

Sorry I never posted Saturday night. We had a problem....Someone decided to take my buddys Trap fishing shanty outta his truck. Even with the cover on the bed they still opened the tailgate and swiped it. We don't know if it was swiped at Applebees or his own driveway at his house. Pretty depressing. And we know the tailgate was closed so it couldn't have fallen out, because we had some gear to take out when we got home...

Sorry to hear about the shanty. Fished Clark yesterday starting at 12:30. 2 small dink perch until it started to get good and dark. Caught a hammerhandle on a pimple and then just as it got really dark, pop goes one of the flags. The result was a 20" Walleye, 2.3 lb on my cousins digital scale. Pretty happy with that fish I can tell you. When I pulled that tip-up line through the hole and saw what came out behind it I felt like dancing!

Sorry Jimhx for not posting any reports. Where did you guys end up fishing? We stuck in the second little bay on the south shore. Found a nice swing in the contour of the lake of 6 to almost 30 FOW. Very nice break, had fish down there, but nothing big. My brother did have a nice looking pike swim through about 4 foot under the hole, just cruising slowly by...that was our highlight at Clark on Saturday...LoL Very nice job on the walleye, always sweet to take a nice eater home for dinner! We get spoiled being able to fish for 'em every weekend on Erie down here...
