Ford Lake / Washtenaw County

My dad and I went to Ford Lake today and the only we got was cold! lol. Fished form 2 to around 6:30 and didn't even have action on the vex. About 20 people out and from the ones I spoke with the action was about the same. Everyone was huddled just off the boat launch and I set up a tipup about 30 yards further out (total of 100yds from dock maybe) than us and the ice was only about 2.5" - 3" thick. We had 4" - 5" where everyone was fishing.

Thanks for the info. Keeping trying. The fish sooner or later will show up. I will probably try to fish there next weekend.

I fished out there just after Christmas and did pretty well. I havent been back since the big thaw :dizzy: That lake is hit and miss. I always here the "they were hitting yesterday" story from people out there. I think it is one of them lakes where you just dont know how you are going to do until you give it a shot.
