Anyone have a report on ice conditions on kent lake? I have never fished it and was thinking of giving it a shot in the a.m. If anyone has any advice too that would be great. lookin for perch and eyes.

Out from the west boat launch can be ok for perch or so I'm told. 6 inches of good ice today.

Perch & Eyes?,,,, stay where you're at, young man. If you're in Warren,, head a lil' south and a lil' east(LSC) some of the best perchin' in the state.

ICe should be fine...i have been hearing 6+ inches throughout the whole lake(well, cept for the parts that have a lot of current in them)
I would strongly recomend not going to the deep hole everyone else goes to....nothing there but dink perch. Fine a nice bay to yourself, and set up tip ups near the dropoff and jig Sweds with a pole....you should be catching Pike and bass all day long....
