We fished a lake in Yankee springs this morning. 5" of ice. fishing was so-so. Iced several keeper gills and specs along with a nice jumbo perch.
best fishing was 18-21ft on the bottom.
Not a bad day at all.

I fished Miner yesterday and it had 3 to 5 inches of ice. Fish were not hitting very well water was milk colored. Went to Yankee Springs and fished a lake over there, it had a good 5 inches of ice and got 10 decent sized gills. Went South of Allegan today and fished a lake there and it had a good 6 inches of ice got 12 gills. First time using my new vex and I love it.
