i used to fish there quite a bit as a small kid. i've never really done well there, though a few years ago, i did pull a nice eye out of there. i've heard about the big crappie in there, but i have as of yet to find them, and don't have too much motivation to go out there when LSC and the canals/harbors are just as close to me. Then again, if ya find em, lemme know, LOL!

muisic man try the north side of dam try fishing the nw. corner about 40 yds. out. I have caught several crappies on 3 and 4'' lures the biggest I have caught was 14.50 ". I caught my last walleye on 11/5 was 8lbs. total for year was 53 walleye 31 pike, I have some jig tails that I recieved from some of my asian workers they are deadly on the walleye I have yet to find them anywhere, there are several very good areas to fish I allways fish from shore and i only fish the last 2 hours park is open.

I may try it this weekend. I fish it a lot in the summer and know the lake pretty well. There are a few spots that I have wanted to try the last few winters but haven't had the chance. I have a cast on my arm right now and my dad is only good for popping open a few holes so we won't be moving much. It will be nice to just get out for a while though. LSC does not sound good anyway  .

Hi mike did you get out to stoney creek this morning, with the weather coming in, I was thinking about trying it on sat, ever fish the area in between north dam and 28 mile I catch a lot of nice crappies there in the spring. best walleye fishing I have found has been between the north dam and boat launch.
