Lots of ice on Tawas Bay, they are driving trucks out to the permanate shantys at Jerry's. Very little snow on the ice, smooth and slick. Remember Perchville is Feb. 5,6 (SuperBowl Weekend). :fish:

Fished Maple Bay tonight out to Colonial Point...probably gained at least
1 1/2 inches of ice since last weekend. 13-14 good spins with the strikemaster, time to get the power auger out. The pier at Petoskey is even starting to lock up.

Although I wouldn't drive the van out quite yet :coco:

Fished Mio Pond Sunday and Monday 8" of ice. This was my first time there so I was careful to fish were others had already gone.

As of 1/15 Paradise (Carp) Lake Near Mackinaw City had a solid 10 inches.

1/16 Cedar Lake in Traverse City was a solid 7 inches. Smelt werent too active, however :)

If you want to fish crystal lake you better have a boat. As of last week it was wide open.
