First time with my vex today

I don't know if the first day is good or not.You've started a serious addiction. :D I've had mine for 10 yrs and I don't hardly want to fish if I don't have it with me. I break out in a nervous sweat in 10 degree weather when I think my battery is getting low :yikes:

from what i can tell so far is you look at the vex and see your jig and then you see a fish and then you move your jig and put it in the fishes mouth !!!!

i caught some nice gills and crappie

note: my friend (an old timer without a vex) outfished me but i spent most of the time playing and trippin on the flasher

The Vex was valuable when it came to finding those fish on the east side of that pond that I told you about last year. I would have thought they would have been scattered throughout the pond but that wasn't the case... ;)

Used my new vex fl-18 this weekend...Wow..I am now glad i spent the extra on the 18...while walleye fishing in approx..10 ft. of water I was jigging with a swedish pimple....I noticed a slight flutter on the bottom of the flasher like a fish but could not tell...switched it to zoom and there right on the bottom was a fish....laid the pimple on the bottom and fluttered up off the sand a few times....Wham....Walleye......Now that's sensitive!! :)
