M-S.com get together???

I did a search through the forums and couldn't find any get togethers for 2005. I would really like to get together and put the faces with the stories and names. I was thinking either lake ovid, houghton lake, or higgins lake. Hopefully we will get some safe ice soon. If anyone knows of some lakes that are producing fish, I wouldn't mind meeting everyone there.

I read quite a bit on what looks like could a small party this weekend up on Houghton Lake. There has another post looking for people and a date for a "M&G" up on Houghton Lake after the Tip-Up-Town crazies have left.

I see there's a get together planned over on the west side for steelhead on February 19th. Thats the same day/weekend as the the Higgin's Lake Winterfest. I'm planning on attending the Higgins Lake event, met several M-S'ers there last year and am looking forward to hooking up with a few again this year! I'm sure Beer & Nuts and/or Barnacle Bill will be posting more on this event as it gets closer.

If we don't get some better ice in the next couple of weeks, I'll be attending a group therapy session. If anyone would like to come along please P-mail me. I will also be organizing the Ann Arbor chapter of "Anglers Against Global Warming". Capnhook PS- Just kidding. LOL Well, about everything but the therapy.

WOW. IF there is a get to gether at higans lake after tip-up-town when ill it be. i have some grandparents up close by. Me and my dad may go if is a good date. Funbonz880 lives in my neighboorhood maye i can con him into goin. (probly be the youngest ones there. :lol: )
