THIS IS THE BEST RECIPE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!
Lemon Pepper Walleye
Ingredents:
4 Walleye Fillets
1 Cup of Iltalian Bread Crumbs
1 Cup Lawry's Lemon Pepper Marinade
1/2 tsp. of Lawry's Lemon Pepper Seasoning
2 tlbsp. Olive Oil
1/2 tsp. of Lawry's Seaoning Salt
2 tlbsp. of Butter
1/3 Cup of Light Cream (for sweeter sauce
use sweetend condensed milk.)
1 tlbsp. of Lemon Juice
1/3 Cup of Sliced Almonds
Put Fillets in Marinade and put in the fridge for 30 mins.
Mix together the Bread Crumbs, Lawry's Seasoning Salt and Lawry's Lemon Pepper and mix well.
After 30 mins., remove the fillets from the marinade and cover with the above mixture.
In a large frying pan, combine Olive Oil and Butter and cook for
3-4 mins. on each side or until the fish flakes.
Next, after removing the cooked fillets, add the cream (or sweetend condensed milk) and the lemon juice and boil until the sauce thickens like a gravy.
Finally, place the gravy over the fillets and add the Sliced Almonds.

Hey Donnie! Man does that recipe sound good. I'll give it a try tonight. I just happen to have some straggler walleye fillets left over from ice fishing this winter. It beats chicken for dinner.

I tried that recipe last night and all I can say is WOW. The cream sauce that is poured over the fillets comes out excellent.
I could not find the Lawrys pepper marinade in the store, so I substituted a cajun marinade by McCormics. I also added a little garlic salt to the bread crumbs to kind of "Kick it up a notch".
I agree with northern, the best walleye I have ever had. Hands down.
Don't let the title of recipe fool you. The lemon peper is hardly noticable, it should be called "walleye hollandaise"
Thanks for the recipe Don!
