What happened to Capt'n Dan's fishing reports. I clicked on it today and got a report from October. He has good information. I hope he's still doing them.

They are updated on the phone. He says it dosnt look good.

I read his reports on a daily basis during the spring and summer months and hope he has decided not to report anymore. He is a true sportsman in that he shares information that is accurate and shares it with other sportsmen. He just wants people to enjoy the water and the experiences he enjoys. I truly enjoy the work he does and the time he spends on the web site. Dan please do not stop!!! You are appreciated more than anyone will ever let you know! :) :

On the phone report he said stay home the ice is unsafe and no one should be out.

He also calls into the Bob Bauer show on 97.1 on Saturday mornings to give his report. We listen to them as we're launching the boat in the summer to go muskie hunting. I don't know if they have him on during the winter.

I know from previous years, Capt Dan does quite a bit of fishing at Simco, so there can be some good spans between his reports.

I call Capt. Dan's report about once a week. I feel he is the best info source we have for LSC.....HOWEVER........I don't believe everything he says, and an honest answer from me would be, on a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give him about a 6. Very nice guy, met him and talked with him several times, but he can overstate the facts a bit........Just like a fisherman!!!
