Gad Problems

Hey,
I am having some gas problems with my truck. I notice when i drive to my friends house in my sub a lot, I run through a tank of gas, and then when i want to go to grayling. I can go all the way up there and back on the same gas. What is wrong here?

The one obvious answer is you get better mileage on the highway than on the stop and start side streets.

Ok, i see what your saying, but would that mean I would go through a WHOLE tank of gas in a day just driving to a friend house? BTW, when am I going to meet you?

No you should not go through a tank a day.....you may have a leak somewhere.....do you smell gas? look under the truck for gas drips. I hope to get over to see you Thurs. or Friday. I'll give you a call later in the week.

BTW~ I just bought a Polaris Sportsmen 500 today~ I can't wipe this smile off my face.

Hey Stel....seems like that I always find one of your posts to reply to......where are you parking your truck?

Is it outside? If so...someone could be siphoning out your gas.

Little deviants in my area were doing that a couple of years ago.

Wished they would have sucked in some of my super diesel and gagged.

Good luck....might try a locking gas cap and see what happens.
