South Lake or Pinckney Area Lakes

I have been commuting to LSC every other day to try the perch but as posted by everyone else-DINKS abounding. Tried Stoney Creek for ~ 1hour saw one blip on my vex the whole time. Thinking of trying South Lake for some gills. Does anyone have any ice reports for this lake or North Lake?

watch the ice on south the depths are so up and down your bound to find a thin spot. limited success on any bigger gills though. north seems to get better results come ice season. never tried the chain of lakes but i bet where you can get on fishing can be good, hear guys doing ok on halfmoon
