Have you guys ever ice fished on Manistee Lake off of CO612.
My in laws have a place there and I do pretty well in the summer.
Even though the cottage is not winterized I thought I might try it this winter.

Anybody been out on portage Lake? I have a cottage up there, but haven't been able to get up there lately. I know last year they were doing pretty good on perch this time of year.

I will be at my cabin in Frederic on mon & Tue of next week, if anyone up there would like to meet and fish. I havent ice fished any of the lakes up there, so any help on where to go and what to use would be great. When you fish for walleye on these lakes do you use tip ups or do you jig for them? thanx for the help. Where can I go in the area for pike? :fish:

I have some good memories of catching some nice browns through the ice on bear lake. Cub lake just around the corner used to have walleye planted in it about 15 years ago.
