Saw a Fisher

While at camp in the Western UP last week, I had a chance to observe a fisher. They're not altogether uncommon there, and are fasinating to watch. They help reduce the porcupine population. Wish he had been at my camp that same morning when a stupid (read that REALLY stupid) porky choose to wake me up by gnawing on the siding. It was a bad move on his part.

Have also seen Pine Martins there in the past.
