lake ovid/lake lansing

I was just wondering if anyone was fishing these lakes and had ice/fishing reports.
I want to take my moms, friends, kids out either tomorrow or wed. (if that makes any sense.)
They have only been with me once (last year)and it was a terrible day with no bites and high winds. Kinda want to get them into some panfish.
Just need to know where the ice is safe for three people and a shanty.

fished ovid today 8in ice got about 60 b.g.s only 12 big enuf to keep trynthe south end in 8ft of water and you should do ok :) :)

Sorry I missed you yesterday. Did you see two guys fishing in the bay by the boat rentals? I was out there with my 85 year old father. Dad wanted to fish and he has a heart condition, so that was the perfect spot. Didn't catch as many as you did, but enough to keep us busy.
Patch, Lucky (and anyone else). Maybe time to consider an Outing....?
