Fished Wamplers 12/26 out to the left of Jerry's Pub. There was about 3 shantys and a couple bucket fisherman in that area, 3 shantys to the north shoreline and about 12-15 shantys out in front of the state park. Talked to one guy that caught a dink crappie and he fished morning and afternoon. We mainly went out to test my new power auger and shanty and play with the vex's. We drilled holes until we found fish. Got set up on em and pounded the jig, and they responded very well, but would come up off the bottom and sit just underneath the jig. We tried numerous jigging techniques once we brought em up off the bottom and we threw wigglers, waxies, eurolarveu and minnows at em. We also had 2 chubs out on tip-ups.....NO TAKERS....didn't seem like anybody was catching fish where we were at...tried depths from 6-19 feet.....Maybe we will try Sand or Clark this weekend...Never ice fished Clark Lake, but would like to try it a couple times this hard water season...ice was 5-8 inches...mainly 5 inches...only a couple holes had about 8 inches of ice....quads and sleds running all over the lake....Hope this helps...post up if you guys hear anything
