Anyone fishin houghton lake?

I might head up for the morning fish sunday and give it a try. Anyone been fishin there, how's the ice :confused: I have to work next week but a bud of mine is going to fish there all week.I'll post how he does when he gets back. Good fishin!

Hey Scotty,

Will be up there probably a couple of times this week. Between snowmobiling trips. Just to make sure, my Motorola Talkabout Radios will work fine on channel 7-0 right. Wasnt sure if they were the same channels. Ill probably shoot you a PM later on in the week.

Im planning on heading up to houghton lake tomarrow, should be fishing by noon at the latest. ill be sure to post a report when i get back. Called up Lymans today, they said at least 6-8" of ice on the lake.

Does anyone know someone on Houghton Lake that would take me out on the lake via snowmobile or quad then pick us up later? I only have a 2 wd truck & ice probably isn't safe for truck yet anyway.
