Chemung ?

havent been by there , but i have to think that the area around the launch should be good or after this cold snap will be. the main lake ,,,i wouldnt go there yet.
maybe ill drive by tomarrow and post back.

last time i was by there it was still wide open. last monday i believe.

there fishin off the launch this morning , a couple chantys , and about 5 guys.

We went to another spot , got stuck , my son went and fished while i waited for the tow truck :smile-mad . My own stupidity.

But on a better note my son caught five nice gills , missed a bunch more.

Were goin back sunday.and im parkin at the road

oh yeah shortbox i wouldnt recommend driving back either i did twice so far and bought lost my truck in that water hole. glad to hear a few fish caught maybe they'll start showing up.

just talked to some guys who fish chemung , 4-5 inches off boat launch , towards the middle 2-3. watch it out there.

I hear ya Patch, ya gotta give it a least a chance this year....Heard rumors that they used chemicals to kill a bunch of weeds, which doesn't help up fisherman out!! Last I heard secondhand, that there was good ice near the launch, a decent ice at best in the rest of the bay....No reports of fish being taken though
