I fished Lake Neppsing today. had about 4" of ice. i didnt have much time out there but people all around were catching gills.

I was just curious about have many people were on nepissing and was there much slush on the lake after all the snow. hopefully i'll make it out by this monday to do a little fishing. :fish:

sounds like a great idea. i hope i can make it also. that is if i am invited...lol. been fishing nepessing for a few years now. a few scattered walleye and a few crappie. nothing to brag that is for sure. if i don't make it....have fun and keep your lines tight!!

Might be able to sneak out a little early. Don't know how long you intend to stay.

We should try to get a larger outing together on a weekend when the ice is more condusive to fishing. Then again, if you do it on a weekend you'll also have all the Yahoo's on sled's buzzing around.

I fished Nepessing today...staight out from Castaways. Fished anywhere from 9-17 FOW. Nothing to show for it. Didn't mark any fish on the vex either. Ice was 4-5 inches.

ih and I gave that hole in the ground a thorough working over and there was not a fish to be seen anywhere. and beleive me I covered some serious water and never marked a fish. POO POO on the 'lapeer anglers' lake.

Stupid getting skunked both times out there this year! I'm either too stubborn or dumb to give up on it just yet, that and it's only 5 minutes away.
