Anyone know if there's any fishing out at Bald Mountain in Orion?

Dont know if anyone has been out there yet, but in years past i have done Ok, on Gills, and a few big crappie there....the front gate is not always open though.

Just curious, but is that the State Park off of I-75 just south of Great Lakes Crossing Mall near Ann Arbor???

Actually it is on M-24, North of I-75....Great lakes crossing is not near Ann Arbor...It is in Auburn Hills.

Sorry thats what I meant to say...But is that the one you guys are talking about....There are signs on I-75 about that place, never found the time to go check it out???

Yep, that the one...it is about 3 miles north of I-75..

There are 6 or 7 smaller lakes in the park. I talked to the guy at Hook Line and Sinker bait shop in Lake Orion Wed. He told me 3-31/2 in. on most lakes but guys going out reported little action.
