Jeffk and myself hit a local marina up in fairhaven for first ice. Ice thickness was around 2" but iffy around the docks. We did manage a few nice gills and a couple of dink perch. Water was dirty so it was hard to get the fish going. As the water clears, the fishing should improve. On my drive into work on Sunday the bay was froze over as far as the eye could see up near McRay's (Bud's) thanks to the north wind. Let's hope she stays that way... Might be able to fish out there by next weekend. I'll post more on the ice conditions thread when applicable.
