what to expect to catch

any info would be greatly appreciated as i have no idea what canals get safe early ice coupled with perch.

thanksit is to the left when u get in the park i have always had better luck behind the island but be carefull theres a current back there depts are about 10ft and u can catch perch pike walleye and i caught a burbout back there once

I was there today the water is very dirty but did manage 1 small dink perch and HUGE CARP yeah thats right a carp on a ice rod....lol got it to the hole in the ice and it said no way, turned snaped my line and was gone with lure:yikes:

Yeah hole in the ice. There is skim ice there around the docks. Just punch a hole with your spud and start fishin
