Hunting in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore?

Is hunting legal there? Deer? Small game?

I can't find any info on the net.

Yes it is legal to hunt there but You need to get a parking permit from any Park office. And no wheeled anything is aloud ie. (carts, 3 or 4 wheelers, bikes, the carts You transport deer on etc.). I use a plastic sled this time of year.

Remember that this is a proposed Wilderness area. All proposed Wilderness areas are to be managed as Wilderness, even if they don't have the designation. I suggest going to www.wilderness.net and read up on rules and regulations associated with Wilderness.
