Well im proud to say, ill be graduating from high school this year and Im working on becoming a DNR officer, After that I will work on working hands on with the animals at the Toledo Zoo.

Congratulations on graduating High School.

Any plans on college? And if you are going to work for the DNR, then why would you go work for a zoo? The two dont really seem to be related?

It is a great career and you get to work for some of the best people, honest hunters and of course with the good always comes the bad, working against dishonest hunters, poachera and violators. Fortunately the good ones far out number the bad ones.

Go to college, choose classes that you enjoy. Study hard, have fun as long as it doesn't interfere with grades, keep out of trouble because it will come back to haunt you if you do get into trouble. Get some life experiences and if you really want to become a conservation officer, regardless what state, don't give up, keep trying no matter what.

About the Zoo thing, Im going to work on both, im really good with animal information(varities of animals both game animals and animals across the world), I always wanted to work with animals, Its my dream, i have the nerve to get in a cage with a fully grown lion or elephant, my friends say I am brave when it comes to those things. I watch Animal Planet every night also OLN. So both things interest me, my girlfriend ask me one day how am I going to choose which one I am going to do, Simple, Ill do both along with a little photography. I wont give up, the way I look at it, I man can fly to the moon then I can do whatever I want.

I plan on owning my own small zoo one day, nothing real big but enough to bring a little enjoyment to some peoples lives and also to help some species make in this world.

This is America and there is nothing you cannot accomplish if you are determined and willing to put in your time. Do not let family, friends, assocoates or anyone else bring you down or diminish your goals in life as your opinion is the only one that matters with matters that pertain to you. It sounds like you have a great idea as to where life will take you but always remember to be open minded when an opportunity presents itself.
