Heres an invention I came up with for getting out of the water quick on slippery/wet ice, (if God forbid) you ever fall through. No, I didn't invent the Ice Spikes you see in the first photo, I bought them at Franks.
But did invent the spandex Helmut Ice Spike holders in the second picture. The cord attached in the original Ice Spike design, that went through and around your shoulders, was actually to short for my massive end-to-end arm length, and rendered them useless. Plus, what's usually the only thing that stays out of the water when one goes through the ice? Yup...your head.
This makes them handy and easy to get at, at all times.
