This guy thought this hog was a cow stuck in his pond when it was a wild hog 30 miles out from Orlando, Florida. A good hog will run 100LB-400LB, but this bad boy tipped the scales at.....................

I was only days away from booking a bow hunt for Floridia wild boars. The 2 of the guys backed out leaving me alone, so I am still waiting. I either want to hunt them in Florida or Taxas. Both states have extra large populations of wild boars.

Hunting them would be a blast.

I saw alot of them in Georgia when I was down there, but none of them were any where close to that size.

I have to admit. I thought the first picture was fake. That is just un-freaking-believable! You would need a chainsaw and a shovel to field dress that thing.

A friend of mine owns Savage Cedar Ranch in Afton, MI. We have ran the dogs on them before and it is pretty fun. They can be pretty dangerous though, they can rip a dog open from one end to the other in no time.

Is it my imagination or is it bending the bucket over the cinder blocks?

Those cinder blocks are keeping the tractor from tipping forward. That thing is huge!!

If your thinking of running wild pigs with dogs be careful of the outfitter. A friend of mine went last year with his bow. They set the dogs out until they got on a pig. Once they were on the pig they circle around it and keep it at bay. Well, here's where it got bad. The pig was only about 75 lbs. and my buddies wanted something bigger. The guide told him nope this is it, take it or leave it. So he said he'll take it. Then the guide reached in and grabbed the thing by the hind legs and held it there for him to shoot.

I know it sounds like a bunch of crap, but I watched the entire hunt start to finish on video. Talk to your outfitter and ask lots of questions. Unless executing a piglet from 4 yards is your idea of a hunt, be very careful about what you get yourself into.
