Beech, definitely keep track of the Lake Simcoe Site as well as this one...many quality ice fisherman from this site make multiple trips over to Simcoe each year and leave good reports. Secret is to stay mobile!

Can't wait to go....

Drew Those are some dandy jumbos. What did they measure out to? Those are fun to pull out of the hole.

I think the one was 13 3/4" and the other one was 13 7/8"...they definitely tightened up the line....

If you have you own Bike and equipment, there is no need to hire a Operator up there. But that lake is Huge, about the size of St.Clair, so if you need an Operator, Try Steves Huts, hes out of the Virgina Beach area. But once up there a few times, you will find the good areas, and start to beat the SLOBS. There is no better Lake than Simcoe for Consistently catching Perch in North America, as far as im concerned. I've been going there for 9 years straight, and always come back with my 2 day limit...... ;)
