hey guys, im lookin to upgrade this season to a more modern approach in ice hoppin. i am in the market for a 10 inch gas auger... used, but will entertain any good prices u fellas might see else where... whats everyones take on the lazer product? its pricey but iv been eyein it... but i dont turn my nose up to others. also im looking for a aqua-view... the new ones are dropping in price and i may venture in that direction but i might as well see what i can surface here right. then im in need of a perch spear. as im building a shanty this year and using the shappelle for travleing this season, im looking for a bvetter heater. thats all im lookin for? what ya guys got for me? thanx!

I have used all the power augers on the market at one time or another. I own a Jiffy and I have had it sinse 1986 the only thing I have ever had to do was install a new spark plug once in a while and in all thoses year I have only done that 3 times. I do change the blades every year or so because they dont seem to hold a good edge when you sharpen then.
Mine is a 9". I have a 18" extention for it because I like ot fish in ice jams. It always starts by the third pull, even after sitting all summer.
