How long is the season for bow hunting? Since my gun season was really rotten I thought maybe I would give the bow a shining up and bring it out.
Is moving around preferred to a tree stand during this cold weather?

Bow season runs to January 2nd. I prefer to use my tree stands. Deer tend to return to there normal patterns of feeding and bedding instead of the breeding and hiding they do in November. But keep in mind that there feeding areas my change from the farm fields they used early in season that are likely harvested to food sources such as brouse or food plots like turnips (if you are lucky enuff to have tunips in.) Good luck. Remember to try your bow in the cold if you have not before. Getting cold and stiff along with the bulk and bind of added clothing can affect your shooting. Some of the guys around the site reccomend reducing the weight you pull on your bow for late season. If you were drawing your top weight durring the warmer weather it my be impossible to draw that same weight when you are cold and stiff in the stand.
