I have used Fireline and a Vanish leader for jigging walleyes in the past. I am thinking about changing (skipping the leader concept) this as it can be a real pain cutting the Fireline. Sometimes it tends to freeze up also. This Transition looks good, would it be good to use straight, skipping a leader? Also, what pound test is favorite for, say, Sag. river jigging?
