Ice fishing season is almost here so I just wanted to remind everyone of my $100.00 panfish special I have going on. I will mount any size panfish for $100.00 each. Species include Bluegill, Sunfish, Yellow Perch, and Crappie. I received alot of panfish from the members here last year and I would like to thank them all for the business. I am looking forward to working for some of you in the near future. Good luck!

just wondering what would it cost for restotation on a fish. i had a mount done in 1996 or a walleye and it fell off the wall breaking both fins off the bottom also the dorsal fin was in rough shape being it was a old fish. iknow u cant give an exact amount but roughly?

hey DZ, if i wanted to ship ya a fish to get done, what exactly do i need to do? wrap in a towel, freeze, then ship in an insulated container with maybe some dry ice? i'm in texas right now, so i'd overnight it to ya or do i need to do that? If the price of shipping it to you adequately is prohibitive, how long will it remain good if frozen quickly and kept in a freezer? do ya know the best way to take care of it? also, as far as fiberglass repro mounts.... of course i'd take as many pics as i can, measurements, etc., need anything else? and what would the price be for say, a 16 or 17" crappie for a repro? I've seen too many fish kinda get blah over the years, and think (maybe i'm wrong), that the fibreglass repro would hold up much better, not to mention then i could release the fish if i want to. Sorry for the 20 ?s but i'm catchin some big crappie down here and i would really like to get a few done to remind me of my fishing trips down here.
thanks,
steve

DZ, I emailed you about a Brown Trout that I am waiting to get mounted. It has been in the freezer for almost a year now. Do you think it would still be good to go? I will also need the directions for shipping.

sounds like you have a nice operation, hopefully I can catch a fish for you to mount, LOL. Here's a question: What is the typical size range that people get these fish mounted. What is considered a mountable fish for each species? (no wise cracks on that last line). I often catch what I think to be a big fish, just curious if I should be keeping them.

Here are some typical sizes I usually mount for the panfish
Bluegill usually from 10 inches on up.
Crappie uasually 13 inches on up.
Perch usually 13 inches on up.
I have done smaller though. Just really depends on what a "trophy" is to you. Sometimes customers get a smaller fish mounted just to remember a special trip with their kids or something.
