underwater cam!

I am getting an Aqua-vu cam for christmas, and was wondering if you want it to show under your shanty like your jigs and stuff how far away from the shanty do you usually set it up? Thanks guys I am hoping to catch some good footage with it this year.

I drop my camera (aquaview ice pro) down a hole next to me. Visibilities vary greatly depending on the amount of sediment in the water. I try and keep the camera as far away as I can. Fish don't seem to really care.
