What's this worth? A friend is looking to sell his handgun and wants to know how much to sell it for. It is 10 yrs old, but only less than 50 rounds have been shot through it.
It includes: Scope, 7.5" barrel, pachmar grips, hunting sling, and comes with a hard case.
Thanks!

It's not a Single Six...never chambered that gun in .44 If it is a single action, then its a Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk.
Blued or Stainless?
What kind of scope...A nice Leupold or Burris is certainly going to command a different price than a Simmons or Bushnell etc.
The gun in blued version alone sells for anywhere from $375 to $425 brand new. The gun alone, probably $275-$300,
Not sure what grip, sling and hard case would be worth and sure it would depend on models. Is it a sling or is it a shoulder holster? Some holsters can be very pricey!

Theres some variables which were pointed out. The quality of the scope is the first consideration. Usually you will get more for it if you sell them separate.
Any extras should also be sold before a dealer grabs them up as a package. [I work in this Industry]. Usually it goes like this.... Seller heres what I have.........Dealer, hmmm what do you need for it? Seller.........well I guess [some rediculous low price] to which dealer says why certainly!!!.
First, find out what your items are going for [Gun List, Shotgun News Etc.] remember dealers need to make a profit to stay in business to. [Not gouging as some dealers do]. Remenber that some items are seasonal.........selling a deer rifle in Summer when its not in demand will usually get a lower offer, because of the time it may take to sell it. Do your homework and you should do fine. Dont do your homework and get snookered!! Good luck, Rich
