Just wondering what the demand would be for Ice Shanty rentals?
I was thinking of renting out some shanties but not sure if there is really a demand for it.

For the portables, probably good. But they are real easy to steal or get destroyed (holes and cuts)
Probably cheaper and a better time by going with me.

I think that there would probably be a pretty good demand for them. However, I bet a big part of the reason that there aren't anymore shanty rental places around anymore is because of the LIABILITY issue. In this letigeous society, the insurance premiums would probably be outrageous. I'd be willing to bet that's why most of those shanty rentals dried up and disappeared.

Call Blue Water Bait in Fair Haven and ask why they no longer rent shanties. They were the last to do so.
I rented a shanty years ago from Tip's or Rays in Fair Haven, seems like it was about $25-35 per day. Of course these were "permanant" shanties.

Just one mediocre (sp ?) lawsuit will take the life out of any charter or shanty rental place in the blink of an eye. BE CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOU DO !!!! :yikes: (W.M. - Be Wary !, hope you're covered !) ;) Good Luck !
