Hey everyone... Getting ready for another season and wondered if any of you have the Keeper Deluxe Icefishing chair? Thinking about putting it on the Christmas list and wondered if it's worth the money...

Man, I never thought I would actually be anxious for winter, but I really am this year! Can't wait for first ice!

I just got one this year. Looks like it will hold quite a bit of stuff and yet serve as a compact chair with a back on it.

I have had mine for 2 years. I love it. I used a Shappell shanty and it was the best way I found to carry everything and have a good seat too. The seat back makes a huge difference. Plenty of storage, I could carry everything I needed in just the chair with the strap over my shoulder and hand auger in the other hand, and walk right out to my spot. Or I could strap it onto my shanty and drag it out. Either way, everything was handy to get to, it carried 6 rods, and 2 tip-ups, a tackle box, radios ( frs and Am-Fm) bait, scoop, all the miscellanious things you need, as well as my cleats, and I added clips on the side for my gaff.

Get it...you will LIKE it alot. Beats a bucket all to heck.No tangled lines, no dumping everything to find what you want.

Cool. Sounds like what I wanted to hear. I figured the seat back to be one of the biggest advantages I would enjoy. I always end up with a sore back after 8 hours on a bucket! (getting old sucks!)

Thanks for the replies.
