...I've owned my property for 10 years and have been working on putting food plots in for the last two years. I've had other chances to fill doe tags before but wasn't ready to do it when the does were willing to cooperate.

Today I filled my tag. I don't even want to think about my cost per pound of venison.

cool. I just started food plots last year. The cost will never end for me. I have a lot of work to do for the overall habitat improvement. I hope in 5-6 years I'll have enough trees planted to just worry about the food plots. Congrats on the doe. I took one out tonight too. She was a healthy one. I'll get her aged when I start to process her. I'm guessing 2.5-3.5 years old.
