Looking for some used cabinets and other kitchen items that are in decent condition. Anyone out there doing a remodel job and getting rid of some old cabinets that still look ok? Have some cash to spend just can not afford new.

I have 4 meralite cabinets sitting in the shed. They are new, never used, we ordered for our kitchen and the wife did not listen to my specs and they were the wrong size. 4 cabinets would not do an entire kitchen but if you are interested I can get the sizes.

Thanks, I will check it out.

Muskie hunter I need to do a small kitchen, but not that small :). Thanks for keeping me in mind. I may need some for a small mud room. Are they base cabinets or hanging?

They are wall hang. We have 2 of the 33-15-12 and 2 of the 21-24-12. If you are interested let me know. Otherwise we can hang onto them because we may be doing our laundry room with the same cabinets. At the time I thought we might want a deeper cabinet then 12" in the laundry. I think the wife want about $50 bucks a piece for them. They retailed for about $250 a cabinet.

Grouse Hunter,

I don't know where you're located but I just found a place in Pontiac that has a BUNCH of used cabinets and such. It's called CDO (Community Development Outreach) They take donated used building materials and such and sell them at a very reasonable price. I just got back from there and bought a very nice used double bowl stainless sink for $15 ! The cheapest comparable new one I could find was $63. If you're in the area and want to check it out let me know. I'll give you their number and address.

Good luck !

One option is to take the cabinets you have and just put new doors on. (Assuming you have cabinents in.)

You can order just the doors and drawerfronts from many cabinet makers.

I would be willing to drive down and check it out. I am in the flint area. Do you think they would have enough for 12-15 linear feet floor cabinets and wall mounts?

GH,
I'll PM you with their contact info. Just give them a call and talk to them. They could probably tell you what you need to know.
