I'm now about 0-30. I wish the DNR had started a point sysytem for elk similar to the bear point system 30 years ago.

0 for 15 now, sure hope to get one some day in my life. I had a buddy that applied a few years back, never hunted at all and he got one his first time applying. Must be nice, he tagged a really nice size cow.

I drew a permit for a cow in 92" and got lucky again in 98" for a bull. Used my hunting system to score on the second morning each year. passed on 7 bulls and 6 cows in 98 bofore taking the bull in the morning of the second day. Anyone need info to do it your self I can save you a lot of scouting time. just drop a e-mail and I will get right back to you.

i GOT A COW PERMIT FOR DEC. FIRST ONE SINCE THEY STARTED THE PERMITS. I WOULD HAVE LIKE TO GOT A BULL PERMIT , BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING AFTER ALL THE YEARS OF GETTING NOTHING.
