OPENING DAY UP NORTH: A girl's first hunt
With rifle and Dad, excited 14-year-old looks for a deer

In her camouflage bodysuit, orange stocking cap a tad too big and round eyeglasses, Amanda - a wisp of a girl - looked the part of a serious hunter. Carrying her unloaded .243 Thompson Center rifle with ease and confidence, she set out for her deer blind with the air of a seasoned outdoorswoman -- if a tired one.

I can't wait till next year when i'm 12 beacause that year my parents are sending me to hunters safety. Soon i'll small game hunt with my mom or dad.

But when i'm older i'll be able to hunt for deer during deer season :D. My mom or dad will probably take me to target ranges to practice some times. I can't wait :chillin:.

FraidKnot, You are lucky to have parents that will help you have fun safely in the outdoor sports. Don't let the boys tease or distract you. Just show them how it's done.
