How many kids took Nov. 15th off school to go hunting? I know my oldest just turned 14 was in the woods with me........

Farwell schools have closed on nov 15 for as long as I can remember.
After all isnt it a state holiday? :piparty:

I wanted to take opening day off but my mom would not let me. Plus I am the best student either so she was just doing it for me.

As a teacher, I hope that every one of you youngsters were in school on Nov. 15! Then again, as a hunter, I wouldn't hold it against you if you were in the woods as I was :) Teacher's are people afterall, please do not forget that! There are many lessons to be learned outside of the classroom, just don't forget those lessons and be sure to share them with the rest of us!

Dear ishootdeer,
At my school there are a lot of hunters and most of them go out opening day. I didnt get the chance to go out but alot of my friends did. Though not enough to cancel school but it was close. Our classes had half the normal amount of people in it.
