Funny how this story comes out of the U.N. at this time. Funny how ABC says no weapons were there. These people are not our friends! Their agenda is anti-American. And people think the world rotates around these people. I hear we need them, that they do good, with out them people in the third world would suffer more. Well go look what is happening in the Congo and Sudan. Where is this great organization that is for the people? If we don't lead the way the U.N. is a worthless organization. The only time they look good is when we lead in and they take over. These people throw a wedge into the countries of this world more than they help. We need to throw the U.N. group out as it stands and start over.
The UN's nuclear watchdog has told the Security Council of the theft of nearly 350 tons of high explosives from a military complex in Iraq.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said it was told by Iraqi authorities that the explosives were taken after last year's invasion.

Funny how U.N chose to release 1-1/2 year old information 1 week before the election. I wonder if the U.N is trying to influence the U.S election in favor of Kerry? Kerry in bed with the U.N... that scares the hell outta me. If he wins... Our troops would be fighting and dying under powder blue helmets in no time. :bash:
Thank God Kerry's a looser. Otherwise we would be in trouble.

The U.N. may be bad. I have been a supporter in the past. I am a supporter of an organization such simialar to the U.N.. But HiHo, You just made alot of assumptions. Kerry in bed with U.N. want to show some evedince? Why do you think our troops will be used in more U.N. actions if Kerry is eleted versus Bush. Bush supports the U.N. and has had no problem sending our troops on U.N. missions as has every President has. Please back up your statment with some cold hard facts...not assumptions that do you know what to you. ;)

How anbout his unabashadely pro UN stance. How about his debate transcripts..Global test...do we need to rehash that point again. How about Kerrys verbal support of Kofi Annan (sp?) How about kerry saying "Troops should only be deployed under the UN flag". How much more proof do you need?

Everything I heard is that there should be a test but when it comes to the security of the U.S. he has said that we will act outside of the U.N. just like Bush did. I guesse I don't get the difference. The U.N. kinda has tests right now. Except they write them as they go. Bush is not radical enough to say we should leave the U.N.. As a matter of fact he and his administration has been extreamly supportive of the U.N. So why not say we should just have one standard not a bunch for each individual country. If the U.N. says it doesn't meet the standard they don't have to go....Kerry has said this. It really is no different than Bush unless I;m missing something. I have not hear Bush say anything but praise for Annan either. So no I don't see Bwana but I;m listening.

Wildcat... 1. Do you honestly believe there was no political motivation behind the timing of the release of this information? And... which political candidate does this release favor.
2. Can ANYONE offer proof that the explosives actually existed? We did not find WMD, therefore they did not exist. These explosives were never found, yet they absolutely existed?
3. When is the last time a U.S solder was deployed wearing a U.N helmet?
Kerry has stated in no uncertain terms will subject U.S policy to the scrutiny of world opinion.
If elected... Kerry will swear an oath to defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies... Foreign and domestic. In my OPINION... If he subjects our defense to any test other than the test of constitutionally… He would be guilty of treason.

If you believe it should be equal then the payment system should be equal as well. the US pays roughly 35% of the dues. We provide free rent in one of the highest rent districts in the world. We have handed over several of our "National Parks" under the Biosphere program; we have handed over some key points of interest including the statue of Liberty under the World Heritage program; and thrown away eventual management rights to 10 rivers, including the Detroit River to the UN waterway something or another (The actual program name eludes me at the moment). And what do we get in return? Snubs by supposed allies; being kicked of of human right committee and replaced by Libya; rampant fraud; flagrant nepotism; and requested pandering to back our proposals in the world body. There so good, what are they doing about the unchecked genocide in Africa that is happening again?
Bush may not be radical enough to say get us out ofthe UN but I am. H.R. 1146; and then make them pay their parking tickets on the way out!

Well, the IAEA saw them a month before the invasion - something that cannot be said about WMD.
Oh no.. do you think U.S. policy isn't currently subject to the scrutiny of world opinion?

And seven foreign intelligence agancies and the CIA said there were WMD's; they must have saw them using your logic.
Their negative scrutiny mattered with the IRAQ matter right:dizzy:

Well I'm not going to defend the U.N. but Bush's stance is really no differnt than Kerry's. One thing I can say is we do need an organization. Maybe a differnent one than the U.N. but we need one. I certainly think that genocide should be stopped don't you? And I certainly don't want the U.S. paying for 100% of cost..do you? The biosphere program has had no ill effect at this point that I'ma aware of. Matter of fact creating them on Isle Royal and Algonquin Park has led to areas that are not much affected by humans as a result scientist have been able to learn alot about our environment and that we still have alot of problems and along way to go. But if you know of some problems with that program let me know what they are.

It has been diffrent when you look at the way he addressed them and ignored dangerous treaties; treaties that would have been supported by a Kerry Administration. With the Biosphere program we have ceded our soverignty yet again; that's a major problem. As for "an international organization" I do not believe we need one at all. We take care of America. The other countries can take care of themselves. If other countries need or want help then we help them, but only as Americans...not an international community.
