A hard gun case with 2 shotguns was found and turned into the Crawford CO Sheriff Dept.

Guns case fell out of white Pickup truck a the corner of Richfield and Green (All though looking at the map, these roads BOTH run east/west???) There was a duck hunting boat in the back of the truck.

Contact Deputy McDonald at 989-348-4616 ext. 334

FYI...
I work for the MI-DNR and we got the report just now.

(I also posted this in the waterfowl forum)

That was very good of you to post that D hunter. Hopefully the owner will get them back, I know I'd be totally bummed out if I lost my favorite shotgun.

Even if I didn't hold this position...I would of made this post had I found out.

I know that I would hope someone would do the same for me.

Us hunters/sportsman must stick together...every little bit helps improve our image.

Thanks again.

Hey D, I live in in Genesee Co. didn't lose any guns, but Richfield Rd. is just around the corner.....no clue where it crosses a Green rd. though....maybe you mean Richfield and Genesee? So they lost the guns down here? If it was early early AM I might know what marsh they were headed to....how did the guns end up in Crawford co?

I am not sure how/why the guns ended up in Crawford County. I can only guess that the people that found the guns are from up there and took them to there own sheriff department???

As far as the cross roads...I didn't think these 2 roads crossed each other by looking a map, but that is what Crawford Sheriff Dept. stated.

Its always fun getting information 3rd-4th hand. :dizzy:
