Fished the Ausable this morining.

Fished below foote dam. I think there was only maybe 1 or 2 other fisherman there, the rest were all snaggers, literally 35 or 40 of them, and not one of them had any shame about what they were doing. giant chunks of lead with treble hooks attached to them were flying everywhere, lucky for me, they were all too lazy to come downstream around the bends, so I was able to fish in peace. by myself. Why is it that all snaggers look like homeless retards??

well , whats the report on the fish, how did you do ?

I went 0 for 3, there were a few fish in there mostly pretty ugly, from what I can tell, it was kind of hard to see because of the heavy wind and some rain showers, I saw one fresh fish, and probably only 20 total, nothing like the manistee last weekend where I saw hundreds. The only way that I could get hook-ups was by using 6# leader, and size 12 caddis nymphs.

DID THE SNAGGERS HAVE TEETH ?
last year took a walk though the human zoo by foote dam with my two boys. ,as we were walking back up the steps my little guy 5 then had a puzzled look on his face,I asked him what was wrong,he replied those men are missing teeth, does the tooth fairy give them money too. MY 11 year old chimmed in don't they have dentists up here.


Did you hear of any steelhead in the river yet ? was hopeing with the cold snap and recent rain.
