I know this does not really have anything to do with hunting, BUT I have noticed something here that seems odd to me. I was asked as many other people were to post a intoduction. I did. But as I was looking through them I noticed that people dont really bother looking at them anyway. The most replies I saw to anyones introduction were 18 the majority of them were 2,3, or 4 and most of them viewed were an average of 25. I read quit a few of the them. There is some really interesting people in here and their stories are good! I for one am going to make sure I look there everyday and hopefully make alot of new friends on this site. I realize that its down near the bottom of the forums list which does not lead people to look there alot but they put it in there for a reason and if people are going to take the time to introduce themselves, for myself I feel I should take the time to reply. IF you walked into a room full of people and introduced yourself to someone would you just not want them to reply? This is my opinion only, I think its a great way to meet people with the same intrests we all have in common. This is not a slam at anyone just something I noticed.

Welcome to the Site!
Most people just point at the thread and read it with out clicking on it. i do that on alot of threads just to see what their about, without opening the thread on a dial up connection can save you alot of time when there's 8 pages of stuff to read through.

I think you'll notice that although there are not a ton of replys the posts do get "viewed" quite a bit.

I dont always "reply" to an introduction unless that person's profile indicates there from "my" area but will usually "view" them.

I wish more "new members" would take the time to fill out there profile so we know where they're from.

Oh yea, WELCOME Lilbow! Hope you enjoy this website half as much as I do! When I cant be in the field or on the water this place does a great job of getting me my fix!

Welcome Lil, glad to have you hear. Yes, there are not a ton of replys to people in the intro forum but that is changing. This forum has not been around too long so many people are not in the habit of looking here. Regardless, thank you for your observation and I hope that you continue to share your ideas with us all.
