Fishing LSC on Wednesday

I have not had the opportunity to fish in a few months and am looking to get out on LSC on Wednesday for some smallmouth action. At this time of the year I was going to try minnows. Where can I get some if I want to launch at Harley Ensign?

Also, I'm open to any suggestions on other techniques and any HOT areas to begin my hunt.
