I could use some help from a Hunter Ed. Instructor.

I just picked up an infomation sheet from Gander Mountain. The class they offer is 18 hours over 6 nights with 2 hours of range time after the classes. This is all good. If I remember correctly, mine was an all day Saturday class.

I do have a problem though. My wifes godson is 13 years old. There was talk of sending him to hunter ed. last year but his parents aren't the most ambitious about some things. This year, I really want him to attend so that I can get him out in the woods. They want him to go, but due to their ambition, I am afraid he will not be taken this year either.

The problem: they live an hour away from us.

Any suggestions?

Have the boy stay with you for a week. It would be like a little vacation for him and you would be able to take him to the class. Where there's a will there's a way ! good luck

We'd love to... but, he is finishing his baseball season and starting football. And the class covers two weeks.
