:fish: has anyone tried this technique for those stubborn eyes. I have a A&S but have not used it yet. I have had minimal luck on crawler harnesses. The erie deri has produced a few eyes. Figure I might as well try to hand line.

I'v tried it and it works. In the lake I normally use small spoons or harnesses. But if your breaking out the handline equip. why don't you give the mouth of the river a shot. # 9 raps and a spoon. I'd try the mouth by peach island Don't be afraid to go to 32 fow. and give the shipping chanel a try just into the lake by the american side cement tower. also you have the edge of the Dalphine. I handline at night but daytime is just as good at times.

In the lake I would only break it out if I hit a real good school of eyes and needed to turn around quick. If you do use it in the lake you'll without doubt have your bait close to the bottom where it should be. Let us know how it works out.
